Frequently asked questions

Do you accept commissions?

Yes. In addition to the one-of-a-kind pieces available online, I also create private commissioned pieces for private homes, beach houses, home offices, children's rooms, boutique hotels, restaurants, offices, and thoughtfully designed commercial spaces.

Many of my commissioned works are created exclusively for the client and are never featured on the website. Whether you're looking for a single statement piece or a curated collection for an entire space, we'll begin with a conversation about your vision, the feeling you'd like the piece to evoke, your preferred colors, aesthetic, and the environment it will live in.

Every GRACE + BAY piece is truly one of one. Even if you see an available piece on the website that speaks to you, it is never reproduced. Each work is shaped by the individuality of the reclaimed surfboard, the organic hand-dyeing process that creates natural variation in color and tone, and the hand-wrapped application of every fiber. No two pieces can ever be exactly alike.

If you're drawn to a particular style, palette, or design language, I'm happy to create an original interpretation inspired by it - crafted uniquely for you.

How much does shipping cost? Do you ship internationally?

Complimentary shipping is included on all domestic U.S. orders.

Every GRACE + BAY piece is carefully packaged and prepared to ensure it arrives in exceptional condition.

GRACE + BAY ships worldwide. International shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on the delivery destination.

Because custom commissions, hospitality installations, and oversized works require specialized handling, shipping and delivery for these projects will be quoted separately.

What are the pieces made from?

Each GRACE + BAY piece begins with a real pre-loved surfboard - thoughtfully sourced from lovers of the sea and surf and given a second life through artful restoration and design.

The boards are individually hand-wrapped in natural sisal fiber and composed in custom-dyed hues inspired by coastal landscapes, vintage yacht culture, European textiles, and timeless seaside living.

Designed as elevated collectible art pieces for refined interiors, no two works are exactly alike. Each piece carries its own history, character, texture, and composition, honoring the original spirit of the board while transforming it into a timeless statement piece designed to live on for years to come.

Due to the handcrafted and one-of-one nature of each piece, subtle variations in color, tone, texture, and composition may naturally occur from board to board.

Every original GRACE + BAY piece is finished with a signature embossed gold metal logo on the reverse as a mark of authenticity.

At the heart of the process is a commitment to craftsmanship, beauty, and conscious repurposing.

How can I be the first to know when new pieces are available?

What is your return and exchange policy?

All GRACE + BAY pieces and products are FINAL SALE.

Due to the handcrafted and one-of-one nature of the work, each piece carries its own unique character and individuality.
